Pre-production storyboards on a British/US zombie-hunter movie by KickStart films. Backed by Rebellion Developments with a proposed budget of £11 million, and rumored to be courting Iggy Pop to play ‘the preacher’.

In plot it most closely resembles ‘John Carpenter’s Vampires’, released the next year, about a christian militia team hunting the living dead. Unlike the afore-mentioned James Woods vehicle, it was charmless, humorless and utterly non-sensical, which eventually led to Rebellion pulling out. Still, the job was a treat to draw, and I got paid.

At the point at which I was involved as a freelancer, the requirement was to illustrate the action sequences; the effects and fights, for presentation to the film’s insurance company.
